How to Pack for Your Dream Icelandic Adventure: Tips and Tricks for Your Ultimate Iceland Packing

Hello Everyone!

I am so excited for our upcoming adventure to Iceland. There will be 47 of you joining me as we explore this amazing country. As we approach the trip and holidays, I wanted to put together some items that I am frequently asked about so that you can start to look for your shopping deals!

One of the things that I love and highly recommend if you are in the market for new luggage is the Samsonite Hardside Luggage. There are multiple colors at this link AND it has both pieces. Try to only have one checked suitcase per person so that it is easier for the bus to manage or else you will be responsible for getting it to and from your room.

Packing is the hardest thing to do for any vacation! I have placed some of my favorite products below to make sure that we are all well prepared. PACKING CUBES make it so much easier to keep your clothes organized and much easier to find. We will only be in one hotel (yay!) but this is a great way to get started.

Now that we have our luggage and we are there- safety is of the utmost importance. It has been recommended to me that we have some Yaktrax Pro Traction Cleats for help walking on the snow and ice. With that being said I have also included some links for boots, coats and gloves so we can all stay warm!

Don't forget to bring your travel Adaptor. This is one of my favorites and will make it easier to have multiple items plugged in.

I get asked often for headphone recommendations and I typically carry multiple options with me. I really like the noise cancelling aspect for the flight or motor coach when you just need a break! Here are some great over the ear options along with the popular Apple option.

Bose Headphones

What are some items that you are making sure to pack? What is in your must haves?

Stay tuned for Part 2 where we go in to medications, currency and more!

Have we missed a follow-up posting? Looking for a bit more specific info of where we'll be - I have a few library books on Iceland now, & would like to bone up on where we'll be, e.g., Blue Lagoon? It is a big country! Thanks!
